Escapade Information
Escapade is a convention where fans of the genre "slash" gather to talk (often at great length) on a variety of topics fannish and otherwise, watch videos, swap and sell fannish products, hang out in sunny California while it's winter elsewhere, and generally have a great timeEach year they have a vidshow:
Escapade and songvids have a long history. (Just ask Jennifer, who spent the first Escapade vid show shuffling VHS tapes in and out of a VCR at the front of a small meeting room.)
Technology has changed. The community has changed. Vidding has changed. Interest rates have dropped. And the Escapade vid show continues to evolve with these changes. This year, the vid show will consolidate the changes from last year, in the ongoing effort to create an enjoyable watching experience.
